Wrecks are strewn all over the Suriname River. The irony is that isolated danger mark. The wreck is far more visible than the navigation marker!

The Jules Wijdenboschbrug Bridge. This enormous bridge connects east and west Suriname.

Bird Roost. To me it's a port channel mark; to them it's a roost and a place to hang out, and they do their best to keep it to themselves by preventing other birds from landing.

Making Way up the Suriname River

The Suriname River. A deep, fast-flowing river that we followed upstream past Paramaribo, the capital, to Domburg where we anchored.
