What a Blast!

We walked out to Mont Carapa, a hill on the outskirts of town, to watch an Ariane 5 rocket put two communications satellites into orbit for the European Space Agency. It was a very relaxed affair with about 500 people on the summit overlooking the space center. There were kids and space buffs as well as a great turn out of yachties, most of whom are frustrated astonauts anyway.
