Building.. It isn't really curved - just horrible distortion from the extreme angle.

Pavement Laying. Horta's beautiful pavements are being extended and renovated. It is a time-consuming highly skilled job, but worth it!

Caldera. The island of Faial is made up of several volcanos. This one is partly submerged.

Strange Place for a Church. It's quite a haul up the hill from Horta to this church, with very few other buildings around so did the congregation like the view that much?

Communication Station. Where the undersea cable connecting Faial to the rest of the world comes ashore.
