ANJEA - Knocknodobar Pilgrim Trail

Simon helps Jesus. It's a pilgrim trail and each cross celebrates a moment of Jesus' crucifixion.

Soggy Track. Sometimes the trail is muddy, other times rocky, but it's always wet.

Jesus is laiden with his cross. The first of thirteen crosses on this beautiful trail.

Heaven. Well, the top anyway. But the view from the top of Knocknadobar certainly is heavenly.

Helen and Mark. It was several degrees colder at the top of the mountain and a brisk breeze made it seem even colder.

The Skelligs. Cahersiveen is in the valley on the far side of The Fertha. You can see the marina at the right of the town. Valentia is the big island above the cross and the Skelligs are visible just below the horizon.

The Blood of Jesus. Or someone was very sloppy with a can of paint.

The Fertha. We were very lucky with the weather: Knocknadobar is often wreathed in cloud or mist.
